Behind the Handle

Quanta works for a monolithic telcommunications company and provides a technological perspective on potential patents and other intellectual property matters. His primary subjects of intellectual interest are knowledge management, cognitive engineering, open source software, and critical thinking.

Canadian bred and born, he was raised in the northern suburbs of Canada’s largest metropolis. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Computer Engineering and Management from McMaster University in 2001. His first “real” job was as a network consultant, although he has held traffic engineering and software development roles in smaller engineering firms, and dabbled in freelance web design.

His favourite ice cream flavour is Mint Chocolate Chip.
